Privacy Policy

AstroTara is operated by AyushCare+ Studio, India. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with.

• The details you enter to get a reading: name, gender, date of birth, and optionally time of birth, place of birth and a short note about what is on your mind.
• Your mobile number, entered at checkout. Payment cards, UPI and bank details are handled by Cashfree and never reach us.
• Order records: the reading bought, the amount, the date and whether it was paid.
• A random private key stored in your browser so you can reopen your reading. We store only a scrambled (hashed) copy of it.

To write your reading, take payment, unlock your reading, help you if something goes wrong, keep the service safe, and measure whether our ads work. We do not sell your data.

• Google (Gemini AI): your name, gender and birth details are sent to Google's Gemini API to write your reading. Google handles this under its own API terms.
• Cashfree Payments: your mobile number and the order amount, to process the payment.
• Supabase and Vercel: database and website hosting.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram): if we run ads, the Meta Pixel in your browser tells Meta about page visits, that a reading was viewed, and that a purchase happened (with the amount). We do not send your name, birth details or readings to Meta.

We keep your reading until you ask us to delete it. We keep payment records for as long as tax and accounting rules require.

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data. Email ayushshrivastavayt@gmail.com with the mobile number you paid with (or the reading you want removed) and we will act within 7 days. Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, gives you rights over your personal data. For a complaint, email us with the subject "Privacy grievance".

We use your browser's local storage for the private key above. If the Meta Pixel is active it sets Meta cookies (_fbp and _fbc). You can clear these in your browser settings.

The service is for adults. A parent or guardian may enter a child's details for a family reading.

We may update this policy and will change the date above.
